IRVING, Texas - Howard Payne senior outfielder and pitcher Kate McLaughlin was named to the 2009 American Southwest Conference All-Tournament Team after her play in this weekend's event.

Kate McLaughlin Kate has been one of the greatest hitters in HPU history. Playing in all 40 games this season, she has recorded 57 hits, 45 RBI, and 83 total bases, all HPU records. Her .460 average this year is also the best all-time at HPU. Kate has broken eight different HPU records this season.
