Eight Student Athletic Trainers On Academic All-Conf List

RICHARDSON, Texas - 352 student-athletes from 15 universities and colleges are among the individuals recognized by the American Southwest Conference on its Spring 2010 All-Academic honor roll, the league office announced on Tuesday. Howard Payne landed eight student athletic trainers on the list.

Angela Ellis Sr. ESS/Athletic Training/Education Marble Falls, TX 

Kevin Hale Sr. ESS/Athletic Training Royse City, TX 

Jessica Hays Jr. ESS/Athletic Training Midlothian, TX 

Matthew Klaus Jr. ESS/Athletic Training Baytown, TX 

Dustin McClure Jr. ESS/Athletic Training/Education Brownwood, TX 

Samuel Sorrell Sr. ESS/Athletic Training Coppell, TX 

Angel Swan Sr. ESS/Athletic Training Sachse, TX

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered in the spring 2010 season, be in at least the second academic year at their institution, and carry a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.
