Sarem Named ASC Player Of The Week

RICHARDSON, Texas - The American Southwest Conference today announced its players of the week honors and Howard Payne's Katy Sarem was named ASC West Division Player of the Week.

Howard Payne sophomore guard Katy Sarem (Helotes, TX / O'Connor HS) averaged 15.5 points and added four steals to help the nationally-ranked Lady Jackets extend their home winning streak at Brownwood Coliseum to 41 games with wins over ASC teams Mississippi College and Louisiana College. Sarem, who added a combined three rebounds and three assists, went 7-for-9 from the free throw line.
