Jackets Get No Wins This Weekend

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne Yellow Jacket soccer team dropped matches to University of Texas - Dallas 1-6 and the University of the Ozarks 0-2 at Citizens National Bank Soccer Field this weekend.

Despite having a 1-0 halftime lead HPU allowed 6 second period goals and fell 1-6 to UT-Dallas on Friday.

In Saturday's game HPU's Ben Bishop was red-carded early in the match. The Jackets played down one player the rest of the match leading to a 2-0 Ozarks victory.

The Jackets will play again on Thursday as they travel to Mississippi College in an ASC matchup.
