HPU Sports holds a banquet at the end of the spring semester to honor alumni of the Howard Payne University athletic department. This banquet is an annual event honoring former Howard Payne athletes who have excelled in the field of coaching, have reached a high level of dedication and commitment to the HPU athletics, and a team that brought great recognition to the university for their performance.
