BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne Lady Jacket volleyball team fell 1-3 (29-31,16-30,32-30,20-30) on TexasBank Court in the Brownwood Coliseum Tuesday night in American Southwest Conference action.

Howard Payne played Concordia (CTX) really close in game one of the match. Concordia came out on top winning 31-29. Concordia took game two 30-16.

The Lady Jackets rallied back to take game three 32-30. Concordia finished the match winning the 3rd game 30-20.

Top hitter for Concordia was Michelle Heckmann with 19 kills and a .380 attack pct.. She also had 6 total blocks in the match. Sara Keithley had 30 digs.

HPU was led by Megan Pick and Jessica Hutton with 15 and 11 kills respectively. Setter Patricia Brown had 48 assists with 13 digs. Melissa Dennis also had 33 digs in the match.

The Lady Jackets will play at the Austin College Tournament this next weekend.
