AUSTIN, Texas - The Howard Payne Lady Jackets took Concordia University Texas to five game but fell 2-3 (30-25,17-30,30-25,24-30,10-15) in the end on the road Tuesday night.

Concordia recorded 16 service aces on the night and a .588 hitting pct in game five to push them past the Lady Jackets.

This was HPU's 3rd 5-game match of the year. They are 1-2 in 5-game matches this season so far.

Megan Pick led HPU offensively with 15 kills and a .222 hitting pct.. She also had 14 digs and 4 aces.

Setter Patricia Brown had 43 assists on the night. Missy Dennis had a team high 22 digs.

Michelle Heckmann led Concordia with 16 kills and a .500 hitting pct.

Howard Payne will play at home on Wednesday against McMurry University at 7:00 PM.
