SHERMAN, Texas – The Howard Payne Lady Jackets pick up another win in day two of the Austin College Tournament.

In the first game on Saturday Howard Payne lost three tightly contested games but taking one from Mary Hardin-Baylor, 1-3 (25-30, 30-28, 30-32, 24-30).

Player highlights are Megan Pick with 25 kills, a .453 attack pct, adding 22 digs, and 2 blocks. Sydney Bryant had 12 kills, 12 digs, and 2 blocks.

Trish Brown had 51 assists, 11 digs, and 2 blocks, while Aja Brunner had 7 blocks. Missy Dennis had her third consecutive match in a row with 30+ digs recording 33 digs against UMHB.

Finishing out the tournament with a win Howard Payne defeated Paul Quinn 3-0 (30-20, 30-21, 30-14).

The Lady Jacket will have Senior Day on Tuesday in the Brownwood Coliseum taking on Schreiner University in their last home match of the season.
