HPU Drops 2007 Season Opener

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Howard Payne men's soccer team gave up a goal in the 85th minute to drop their 2007 season opener 0-1 to Our Lady of the Lake University on Monday.

A shot by Our Lady of the Lake's Lopez deflected off a HPU defender for the only goal of the match.

HPU was out shot 18 to 9.

Malcolm Framjee played in goal the entire match for the Jackets.

Howard Payne will be back in action next Tuesday at home versus the University of Texas-Permian Basin.
