Lady Jackets Continue To Play Solid In 1-1 Tie With LeTourneau

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne Lady Jackets outshot their opponents for the first time this season in a 1-1 tie with LeTourneau at Citizens National Bank Soccer Field on Saturday.

Howard Payne outshot LeTourneau 14-12 overall and 9-5 in shots on goal.

The Lady Jackets scored first when Liz McDonald-Smith scored an unassisted goal in the 14th minute.

LeTourneau scored their goal on a corner kick by Kelly Crommelin in the 31st minute.

Nicole Pena play the entire game in goal for HPU recording 4 saves. Liz McDonald-Smith along with her goal she had 3 shots two on goal.

The Lady Jackets will play again on Thursday in Austin versus Concordia University Texas.
