Lady Jackets Struggle Against Mississippi College Losing 0-3

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne Lady Jackets fall to Mississippi College 0-3 in American Southwest Conference action at Citizens National Bank field.

Mississippi College took a total of 19 shots while Howard Payne only got off 6. Takenda Cotton took the only shot for the Lady Jackets on goal. Rachael Hardegree grabs three saves in the first period for the Lady Jackets. Allison Gudmundson played in goal for HPU in the second period recording one save.

Christa Sutter and Anna Clark score the first two goals for MC in the first period. Heather Roberson shoots their last goal with six minutes remaining the game.

The Lady Jackets fall to 8-7-0 overall and 6-4-0 in ASC play while Mississippi College improves to 12-3-0 overall and 7-7-0 in ASC play.

The Lady Jackets next game will be at McMurry University on October 24th at 1:00 pm.
