HPU Now 3-2 In ASC Action

BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne allowed 3 first half goals and fell to the University of Texas at Tyler 0-3 in American Southwest Coonference action at Citizens National Bank Field.

The Lady Jackets were held scoreless for just the second time this season. HPU was outshot 24-7 by UT-Tyler in the game (10-2 shots on goal).

Rachael Hardegree recorded 7 saves in her 90 minutes of action in goal. Susana Chavarria and Ashli McCutchen were the only two HPU player to get shots on goal.

Howard Payne falls to 4-5-0, 3-2-0 ASC, while UT-Tyler improves to 6-2-1, 3-2-0 ASC.

The Lady Jackets will play at home on Saturday against Concordia University Texas at 1:00 pm.
