Jackets Make It Two In A Row

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Yellow Jackets extend their win streak to two games with a 71-69 win over American Southwest Conference opponent Mississippi College Thursday night at the Brownwood Coliseum.

In a pretty clean game foul wise, the difference would be at the foul line with HPU shooting 10 of 11 for 91% and MC shooting 7 of 12 for 58%.

MC jumped out to an early 13-2 lead but the Jackets fought back to within 2, 24-26. MC extended their lead back to 10 at the half, 31-41.

The Jackets started the second half with a 15-5 run and tied the game at 46-46 on a three-point play by Tom Hermann with 15:23 to play.

MC's shot attempt at the end was no good and the Jackets secured the 71-69 win.
