HSU Defeats Both HPU Men's And Women's Teams

ABILENE, Texas – The Howard Payne men's and women's tennis teams fall to Hardin-Simmons in American Southwest Conference tennis action. The HPU men lost 1-8 and the HPU women fell 0-9.

The Yellow Jackets fell to 5-7 overall and 3-3 in ASC play, while the Lady Jackets now stand at 5-8 overall and 3-3 in ASC action.

The Howard Payne men's team was able to pick up one point when the number 3 doubles team of Nate Alger and Ross Sidman defeated Stephen Salazar (Brownwood HS grad.) and Daniel Moor 9-7.
