Lady Jackets Fall To Texas Wesleyan

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's soccer team only managed three shots on goal to 8 for visiting Texas Wesleyan University losing 0-2 at Citizens National Bank Field.

Kelli Wentworth (Wylie, Texas) had three shots, two on goal, for Howard Payne with Nelly Ruiz (Conroe, Texas) adding 2 shots, one on goal.

Haley Browning and Alejandra Barrera got the two goals for Texas Wesleyan in the 22nd and 70th minutes respectively.

Rachael Hardegree (Midlothian, Texas) played all 90 minutes in goal for HPU recording 6 saves and the two goals.

Tha Lady Jackets play next on Tuesday at home versus Out Lady of the Lake University.
