Lady Jackets Get Another Win

ALPINE, Texas – The Howard Payne Lady Jackets sweep Sul Ross State in three sets, 3-0, in a American Southwest Conference matchup at the Gallego Center. 

Another decisive win for Howard Payne as the Lady Jackets take the match 25-12,25-14,25-15. 

Tamika Heline led all players with 13 kills, 4 service aces, and no hitting errors. Heline also added 10 digs. Amy Crouch and Patricia Brown had 12 and 11 assists respectively. Megan Pick also played a major roll recording 9 kills. 

Sul Ross State was led by Erica Aeschleman with 7 kills. Melissa Espino added 10 digs. 

Howard Payne has already equaled last season's total wins with 9 so far. The Lady Jackets improve to 9-6 overall and 2-4 in ASC play. Sul Ross State falls to 0-11 overall, 0-7 in ASC action. 

The Lady Jackets will play next at home on Tuesday versus Schreiner University.
