Jackets Defeat USW 6-3

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne Yellow Jacket men's tennis team recorded their second win of the season in a 6-3 victory match over the University of the Southwest in non-conference action at the Nabers Tennis Center.

The men's team came through strong and played well against a strong University of the Southwest team. “Our young men are hungry for success and they focus and work hard every match and practice,” said Sally Brown head tennis coach. “I was very pleased with their performance.”

The Jackets next home match is next week, Friday, Feb. 20th at 3:00 p.m. against the Univ. of Texas - Dallas.
