Lady Jacket Defeat USW 8-1

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The HPU Lady Jacket tennis team posted an 8-1 victory over the University of the Southwest in non-conference action at the Nabers Tennis Center Thursday afternoon.

The HPU women started out 3-0 because USW had players out due to illness.

“There was a great effort by all these ladies and we seem to be getting stronger each match,” said Sally Brown head tennis coach. “I was pleased with their performance.”

The Lady Jackets next home match is next week, Friday, Feb. 20th at 3:00 p.m. against the Univ. of Texas - Dallas.
