Jackets Dominate Schreiner

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne tennis team defeated Schreiner University 9-0 in American Southwest Conference action Tuesday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

The Jackets played with great intensity and focused on the task at hand, losing only 11 games total. "We needed this match to stay in the hunt for the Conference tournament," said head coach Sally Brown. "We are playing well at the right time of the year." Howard Payne is controlling their destiny and need a win this next Saturday versus Mary Hardin Baylor to get in the ASC Tournament."
