Women's Tennis Drops Two Matches

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's tennis team dropped matches to LeTourneau University and the University of Texas at Tyler on Friday, both were 9-0 losses.

Howard Payne started the day in Longview, Texas against LeTourneau. HPU still in team match play without a player began the match down 2-0. LeTourneau posted their first ever win over the HPU women 9-0.

The Lady Jackets then traveled over to Tyler, Texas for an afternoon match. Again playing the match down a player, HPU lost 9-0.

HPU is now 0-3 in match play on the year. They will be in Dallas on Saturday taking on the University of Texas at Dallas.
