HPU Sports Information

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's tennis team dropped their fourth match in a row in a 0-9 result to the University of Texas at Dallas Saturday.

HPU still playing this season a player down due to injury, started out 0-2 versus UT-Dallas. 1# doubles team of Cassie Emerson and Maddie Daugherty battled hard but lost 9-7. Codi Fisher nearly picked up a win in the #4 single losing 7-5, 6-3.

The Lady Jackets now stand at 0-4 on the season and will play next at home on Thursday versus the University of the Southwest.
