Lady Jackets Fall To DBU

HPU Sports Information

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's tennis team fell to Dallas Baptist University in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

Maddie Daugherty played well for Howard Payne but lost in the end, 6-1, 6-3 in #1 singles. Daugherty along with double partner Cassie Emerson also lost in #1 doubles 8-3.

Howard Payne now stands a 1-7 on the year and will play next on March 26th in Kerrville versus Schreiner University.
