BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne University's Leslie Jones netted four shots in a 5-0 Lady Jacket win over American Southwest Conference opponent the University of the Ozarks.

The game remained scoreless up until the 43rd minute when Howard Payne forward Leslie Jones headed in a Shannon Costello corner kick.

Howard Payne would build their lead in the second half adding four more goals. Jones added additional goals in the 55th, 59th and 84th minutes to complete her first hat trick of the reguler season.

Sarah Weber netted the first goal of her career in the 79th minute after stealing the ball inside the box.

Howard Payne improves to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Ozarks falls to 2-9 overall and 1-5 in ASC action. The Lady Jackets make a road trip to play Mississippi College on Thursday before traveling to Louisiana College on Saturday.
