Jacket Tennis Wins Conference Opener

ALPINE, Texas – The Howard Payne men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Sul Ross State to open up conference action on Friday.

The Jackets started the day by winning all three doubles matches. HPU went on to win all singles matches in straight sets.

Howard Payne now stands at 3-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They will take on the University of the Southwest in a non-conference match in Alpine on Saturday.
