Women's Tennis Falls To Sul Ross State

ALPINE, Texas – The Howard Payne Lady Jacket tennis team dropped their 2011 conference opener 3-6 to Sul Ross State University Friday afternoon.

Howard Payne took two of the three doubles matches to start the day but only won the number six single match to fall 3-6 the Sul Ross State.

The Lady Jackets start the season 0-4 overall and 0-1 in conference play. They will have a non-conference match with the University of the Southwest on Saturday in Alpine.
