Jackets Blanked By McMurry

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne men's tennis team dropped their second straight conference match Tuesday afternoon to McMurry University 9-0 at the Nabers Tennis Center.

The Yellow Jackets were unable to pick up any team points falling to McMurry University 9-0. The closest single matches were Edward Martinez at #1 falling 7-5, 6-3 and Ryan Prather at #6 losing 6-2, 7-5.

Howard Payne is now 7-6 overall and 3-3 ASC, while McMurry stands at 16-2 overall and 3-0 ASC.

The Yellow Jackets will finish out the regular season on Saturday at home versus the University of Texas at Dallas starting at 3:00 pm.
