Lady Jacket Tennis Falls To UMHB

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne women's tennis team dropped a conference match to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor 9-0 Saturday at the Nabers Tennis Center.

UMHB took all three doubles matches 8-2, 8-0, 8-3. The Lady Jackets dropped all singles matches on the day. HPU's Samantha Guerrero battled hard in the number five singles spot falling 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.

Howard Payne is now 3-9 overall and 2-3 in conference, while UMHB stands at 10-5 overall and 5-0 ASC action.

The Lady Jackets will take on McMurry University on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Brownwood.
