Harp's First Half Goal Leads HPU Past UDallas

BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne University's Allison Harp got her seventh career goal to lead the Lady Jackets to a 1-0 victory over the University of Dallas Saturday afternoon.

Allison Harp's goal came in the 9th minute of the first period on an assist from Shannon Costello. Despite being outshot 24-6, the Lady Jackets only needed nine total shots to get the 1-0 win.

Adrienne Walker started in goal for HPU recording 10 saves in 61 minutes of action. Courtney Beene saw time as well with six saves in the 29 closing minutes.

Howard Payne gives UDallas their first loss of the season at 1-3 The Lady Jackets improve to 1-1 overall. HPU will open up conference action at home next Friday versus East Texas Baptist University.
