BELTON, Texas – Leslie Jones scores both Howard Payne goals in the 2-0 Lady Jacket victory over conference foe University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in their regular season finale Saturday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, Howard Payne's Leslie Jones put two shots in the net for the Lady Jackets to give Howard Payne the win.

Jones first came in the 54th minute off a corner kick and the second was in the 87th minute.  Jones, the all-time goals leader at HPU, finishes the season with 13.

The Lady Jackets outshot UMHB 8-5 in the match. Adrienne Walker played all 90 minutes in goal for HPU recording just one save.

Howard Payne moves to 6-9-0 on the season and 6-6-0 in conference play. UMHB finishes the season at 6-8-2 overall and 3-7-2 in the ASC.
