WTenn Goes 1-3 Over The Weekend

BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team travelled to Longview and Tyler for matches this weekend and gained a win over East Texas Baptist University in the process.

On Thursday, the Lady Jackets faced LeTourneau University in Longview falling 6-3. HPU then travelled to Tyler for matches versus ETBU and Southwestern University on Friday. HPU easly handled ETBU 9-0 and dropped a narrow one to Southwestern 5-4.

Saturday HPU matched up against ASC power, the University of Texas - Tyler. The Lady Jackets would drop the match 9-0. Howard Payne is now 1-5 in team play this semester and will have their next matches on March 3rd in Dallas versus Dallas Baptist University and the University of Texas at Dallas.
