Women's Tennis Falls To St. Mary's (TX)

ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team traveled to Abilene for a neutral site match with NCAA II St. Mary's University of San Antonio. The Lady Jackets lost 9-0 in the non-conference match.

The closest match on the day for the Lady Jackets was the number one doubles match. HPU's Gabi Crunelle and Joan Burks lost 8-4 to Huong Huynh and Angelina De Oliveira of St. Mary's. The other two double matches ended in 8-1 decisions for St. Mary's. HPU also dropped all of their singles matches in straight sets.

The Lady Jackets will be in Kerrville on April 5th for a conference match with Schreiner University starting at 1:00 pm.
