ALPINE, Texas - The Howard Payne volleyball easily posted a 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-12) conference win over Sul Ross State University Friday afternoon.

The closes set of the afternoon was the first with the Lady Jackets taking it 25-21. HPU took the next two sets 25-17 and 25-12.

Hannah Hicks led HPU and the match with nine kills and a .364 attack pct. She also added four blocks. Taylor Jordan followed with seven kills. Jessica Guerra finished with 12 assists. Sarah Davies added five blocks.

Howard Payne is now 5-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Howard Payne will travel to Kerrville on Saturday to take on conference opponent Schreiner University at 4:00 pm.
