Box Score CLINTON, MS - The Howard Payne men's soccer team suffered their third loss of the year 4-0 to conference opponent Mississippi College Thursday afternoon.

Josh Gardner got the only shot on goal for the Jackets. As a team Howard Payne was outshot 29-7 in the match.

Ryan Young got the loss in goal for HPU recording three saves in 90 minutes of action.

MC scored goals in the 29th and 30th minutes to hold a 2-0 halftime lead. They would get another just 1:49 into the second period. They then rounded out their scoring with a goal in the 72nd minute.

HPU is now 3-3-1 overall and Mc stands at 3-3 overall. The Jackets will travel to Pineville, LA on Saturday to take on Louisiana College at 1:00 pm.
