CLINTON, MS - The Howard Payne Lady Jacket soccer team was outshot 26-5 in a 4-0 loss to conference opponent Mississippi College Thursday afternoon.

Adrienne Walker recorded seven saves in her 90 minutes of action at keeper. Shannon Costello had two shots on goal and Leslie Jones finished with one.

HPU found themselves down 3-0 at the half after MC scored goals in the 15th, 32nd and 43rd minutes. MC scored their final goal in the 57th minute.

Howard Payne is now 1-4 on the year and 0-2 in conference play. MC stands at 5-1-1 overall. Howard Payne will travel to Louisiana College in Pineville, LA on Saturday, it will be a 11:00 am start time.
