WSOC Loses 3-0 To UMHB

Box Score BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's soccer team fell 3-0 in conference action to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.

Stephanie Boggs had the most opportunities for Howard Payne to score recording three shots, one on goal. UMHB posted a 7-1 advantage in cornerkicks and outshot the Lady Jackets 13-6 in the match. 

UMHB scored goals in the 26th and 43rd minutes to hold a 2-0 lead at the break. They added another in the 72nd minute to round out their scoring.

Adrienne Walker played all 90 minutes for Howard Payne in goal recording six saves and the loss. 

The Lady Jackets are now 2-9 overall and 1-3 in conference. Howard Payne will next week at home versus Mississippi College on Friday at 1:00 pm and Louisiana College on Saturday at 1:00 pm in HPU "Pink Out" game.
