BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's tennis team fell 9-0 in non-conference action to NCAA D-II McMurry University Friday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

Results

Howard Payne would drop all three doubles matches to start the afternoon 8-0, 8-1 and 8-2. The closest singles match of the day was the number one spot with HPU's Joan Burks falling 6-4, 6-1 to McMurry's Lauren Renner.

Howard Payne is now 2-3 overall and will play next on Saturday at home versus NCAA D-II Dallas Baptist at 11:00 am.
