SEGUIN, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 7-2 to Texas Lutheran University in ASC West Division tennis action on Saturday.

The Lady Jackets would pick up the number three singles point and number two doubles point to round out their team scoring in a 7-2 loss to Texas Lutheran. Howard Payne had an opportunity in the number five singles and number one doubles spots to pick up additional points.

Samantha Guerrero would win 6-3, 6-0 in the number three singles spot and the pair of  Kaila Martin and Larissa Lynskey won 8-4 in number two doubles play.

Howard Payne is now 3-8 overall and 1-3 ASC West Division action. The Lady Jackets will play next at home on Thursday, April 18th versus Hardin-Simmons at 2:00 pm.
