BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne men's tennis team finished the season with a 9-0 loss to conference opponent Hardin-Simmons University Thursday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

Howard Payne would start the day dropping all three doubles matches 8-6, 8-1 and 8-1. It was the number one doubles team of Luis Vallecillo and Jeremy Rodriguez that would lose the closest doubles match 8-6.

Luis Vallecillo would also drop a close match in number one singles action 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.

Howard Payne finishes the season 2-10 overall and 1-4 in conference action. Hardin-Simmons stands at 4-12 overall and 3-1 in conference.
