SALEM, OR - The Howard Payne women's soccer team is outshot 21-3 by Willamette University losing their 2013 season opener 3-0.

Freshman Marley Zochert got off Howard Payne's only two shots on goal. Stephanie Boggs would take the only other shot for the Lady Jackets in the game.

Adrienne Walker started in goal for HPU recording three saves and giving up two goals in 45 minutes of action. Shelby Spaudling played the second half in goal gaining five saves and allowing one.

The Lady Jackets will play Linfield College on Saturday before finishing out their trip to Oregon with Pacific University on Monday.
