MCMINNVILLE, Oregon - The Howard Payne women's soccer team could not overcome a 4-0 halftime deficit and fell to Linfield College 5-0 in non-conferenece action Saturday evening.

Adrienne Walker started in goal for Howard Payne recording four saves along with four goal in the first period. Kelsie Piland played the second period in gaining five saves and allowing one goal.

Howard Payne is now 0-2 to start the season and Linfield stands at 1-0. HPU will play Pacific University on Monday at 6:30 PST.
