GEORGETOWN, Texas - Howard Payne's Marley Zochert nets her first goal of season in a 3-1 non-conference loss to Southwestern University Friday evening.

Both teams would not be able to score in the first, taking about equal number of attemps. Southwestern would change that in the second scoring goals in the 48th and 56th minutes.

Howard Payne pulled to within one in the 78th minute when Marley Zochert scored her first goal of the season on a Stephanie Boggs assist.

The Lady Jacket would not be able to equal the score as Southwestern scored a security goal with just under three minutes remaining.

Adrienne Walker played all 90 minutes in goal recording four saves and the loss. Boggs would also take three shots in the game one being on goal.

Howard Payne is now 0-4-0 overall and Southwestern stands at 2-2-0 on the year. Howard Payne will play on Sunday at 3:00 pm versus non-confernce opponent Schreiner University at Citizens National Bank Socccer Field.
