ALPINE, Texas - The Howard Payne volleyball team finished the season with back to back wins. The second was a 3-0 (25-24,25-23,25-17) victory over conference opponent Sul Ross State University Friday evening.

The first two sets came down to the wire with the Lady Jackets winning 26-24 and 25-23. Howard Payne used a .241 attack pct. in the third set to secure it 25-17 and the match 3-0.

Breanne Cathey led Howard Payne with 14 kills, while Micah Cisneroz added 11 kills and Allison Eaton had 34 assists. Briana Williams had 19 digs, Shelby Bridges had 16 and Cisneroz added 14.

The Lady Jackets improved to 3-22 overall and 1-15 in ASC play with the victory. Sul Ross State dropped to 5-21 overall and 1-15 in the ASC with the loss. The match was the final action of the season for both teams.
