Jackets Lose 9-0 To UT-Dallas

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to the University of Texas at Dallas Friday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

Results

Despite dropping all three double matches, the Yellow Jackets were competitive in double play falling 8-2, 8-3 and 8-2.

Will Thomas lost 6-2, 6-2 in the top spot of the HPU ladder and in number five singles, Michael Zamora fell 6-2, 6-1.

Howard Payne is now 0-3 on the year and will play next on Saturday versus Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas at 2:00 pm.
