BELTON, Texas - The Howard Payne men's tennis team fell to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor 9-0 Saturday afternoon in conference action.

Despite losing 9-0, the Jackets would have close matches in the number one doubles and number four singles action.

Edgar Torres fell 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 in number four singles play. Torres paired with Will Thomas in number one doubles losing 8-6.

Howard Payne is now 1-10 overall and 1-5 in ASC play. Mary Hardin-Baylor is 4-3 overall and 3-2 in conference. Howard Payne play next on April 4th in Tyler, Texas versus Louisiana College and Mississippi College.
