BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday afternoon in conference action.

The closest double match of the day would be the number one doubles spot. HPU's Chesney Goza and Brittony Walker fell 8-4.

Samantha Guerrero would also have a tight second set in number three singles action losing 6-1, 7-6.

Howard Payne is now 4-7 overall and 3-3 in ASC play. Mary Hardin-Baylor stands 6-3 overall and 5-0 in conference. Howard Payne play next on April 4th in Tyler, Texas versus Louisiana College and Mississippi College.
