TYLER, Texas - The Howard Payne men's tennis team fell 9-0 in American Southwest Conference action to the University of Texas at Tyler Saturday afternoon at the Summers Tennis Center.

Howard Payne would drop all matches in straight sets including losing all three doubles matches, 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0. Edgar Torres was the only Yellow Jacket to take two points from UT-Tyler falling 6-2, 6-0 in number four singles play.

Howard Payne is now 2-12 overall and 2-7 in ASC play. 16th ranked UT-Tyler stands at 16-3 overall and 9-0 in conference. Howard Payne will finish out the regular season on April 11th in Abilene versus Hardin-Simmons University.
