BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne Lady Jackets fell to Louisiana College 1-0 in their final match of the 2015 season on Saturday afternoon.

Howard Payne created many opportunities for itself outshooting LC 20-8 with 14 being on goal, but it was Haley Gilmore scoring the game's only goal in the 50th minute for Louisiana College.

There were many Lady Jackets putting shots on the goal this afternoon. Courtney Turner had three total shots with all three being on goal. Tyla Tipton and Kristy Melendez each finished with three shots and two on goal. Jennifer Martinez and Kaitlyn Harrison collected two shots with two on goal apiece. Senior keeper played her final game in the goal playing the full 90 minutes and picking up five saves while allowing one goal.

For Louisiana College, Haley Gilmore picked up three shots with two being on goal including the game's only goal. Taylor Bergeron and Jayme Harmon each had two total shots. Haley Clark played the full 90 in goal and picked up 14 saves.

The Lady Jackets finish the 2015 season with a 3-10-2 overall record and held a conference record of 2-8-2 in Coach Tatenda Chieza's debut season at Howard Payne University.
