GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Howard Payne men's tennis team faced tough competition Friday dropping matches 9-0 to the University of the Southwest and 9-0 to Southwestern University.

Howard Payne dropped all three doubles matches versus the University of the Southwest 8-0. They would not do better in singles action losing all in straight sets.

The Yellow Jackets fell 9-0 in the second match of the day versus Southwestern University.

Edgar Torres and Drew Lambert fell 8-3 in number one doubles and Torres also lost in number one singles 6-2, 6-3 in the closest matches of the day.

Howard Payne is now 0-3 overall and will play next on Feb 26th at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.
