ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 9-0 to non-conference opponent Austin College Saturday afternoon at the Streich Tennis Center.

The most competitive match of the day was the number one doubles spot with Edgar Torres and Drew Lambert losing 8-5 to Cedric Ambulo and Josh Granberry of Austin College.

After losing the number two and three doubles 8-0 and 8-0, the Yellow Jackets would go on to drop all the singles spots in straight sets. 

Howard Payne is now 0-2 overall and Austin College stands at 1-1 on the year. The Jackets will play next on Feb. 12-13 at the Schreiner University Tournament in Kerrville, Texas.
