BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team dropped matches to Concordia Texas 9-0 and Mary Hardin-Baylor 9-0 this weekend in conference action.

On Friday, the Yellow Jackets competed at Concordia Texas in Austin falling 9-0. Howard Payne dropped all three doubles matches 8-4, 8-1, 8-2 respectively. HPU would also lose all the single matches in straight sets.

On Saturday, Howard Payne took on Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton which ended in a 9-0 decision for UMHB.

Howard Payne is now 1-12 overall and 0-3 in American Southwest Conference West Division action. The Jackets will play next on Tuesday, April 5th versus McMurry University in Brownwood at 1:00 pm.
